My Colorado collection of glazes includes my Red Rocks glaze; which was customized to look like the rock formations of Colorado’s famous music venue, Red Rocks Ampitheater! My Red Rocks mugs are a nod to the place where I’ve seen countless concerts, where I had my high school graduation, and where I’ve worked out, run stairs, and done yoga ‘on the rocks’!
It’s a stable, texture-rich glaze that combines beautifully with my darkest clay body – for a modern, moody and natural aesthetic. It’s a true favorite of mine, and varies quite a bit based on thickness and glaze application. I also make modern ceramic bells and modern spouted matcha bowls using my red rocks glaze!

Another version of my Red Rocks mugs is my Red Rocks Tiered Tumbler Cups – a simple, stepped form with a modern vibe. With less of a beveled bottom than my modern mugs, this form is incredibly comfortable to hold, with your fingers easily resting on the beveled edge of the form. It’s modern and simple in form, allowing my custom, hand-mixed Red Rocks glaze to take center stage. I make these tumblers without handles, and they are perfect for hot or cold beverages.
